Service Developing a new independent research centre with a stellar team of academics, policy and legal experts.
Founding Programme Director, MLitt Gender Studies, University of St Andrews, ‘18-‘21
Wrote the curriculum for the entire programme, with university approval and an external evaluation. Led the recruitment and was responsible for the admissions process. Was the director of the programme from the start, advisor for MLitt students, taught on the programme, and coordinated additional teaching on the programme. MLitt Programme received double the anticipated enrolment for the first incoming cohort.
Founding Director, The St Andrews Institute for Gender Studies, University of St Andrews, ‘18-‘21
The Institute for Gender Studies brings together over 130 academic staff from 25 different departments at the University of St Andrews who research or teach on gender and related topics for fruitful and significant collaboration. We are in the process of developing a variety of research initiatives (e.g., reading seminars, speaker series, Scottish Gender Studies Network) for the Institute. I also created an MLitt programme—the first class was in Autumn 2020.

The Emotion Network aims to bring visibility to and to foster a community for the philosophers in Scotland who do research on the philosophy of emotions—there are twelve members across five Scottish universities. I organised and was awarded funding for our first workshop, held in Autumn 2017 at the University of St Andrews.
